Paid Serve plans buy the dashboard around it: a year of history or all of it, unknown agents, CSV export, per-route context, and up to ten sites. The SDK keeps working whether or not you pay. 02What does a credit cover? Each URL you read costs 1 credit. Batch is N credits — one per URL in the request, not one request. Score is free. Read-and-score costs 1. 03What's free? 1,000 Read credits a month. No card. Score is always free, including the scanner. 04What happens when I exceed my monthly plan? On Free, requests start returning a quota-exceeded error — there are no surprise charges. On any paid Read tier, overage requests debit your credit balance instead. If both your plan and credit balance are empty, the API returns `PAYMENT_REQUIRED` until you top up or the next billing cycle starts. 05Can I hold a Read subscription and a Serve subscription at once? Yes. They're independent. The same account can have, say, Read Growth and Serve Pro at the same time — separate Polar subscriptions, separate quotas, separate billing lines. 06Do you bill in USD only? What about taxes? Billing is handled by Polar.sh as merchant of record. They handle VAT, GST, sales tax, and currency conversion automatically based on your billing address. The prices on this page are USD; what you pay may differ slightly based on your local tax rate. 07Do credit-pack credits expire? No. They sit in your balance and carry over from month to month until a paid plan draws on them. 08What about Act? It isn't built, and has no date or price.
